Ben Cole, Chief Development Officer

Ben is a digital all-rounder who discovered performance marketing in 2006 when he qualified for his first job in sales at TradeDoubler which was known as the Internet University by the then employees of the Swedish owned affiliate marketing giant. Under the TradeDoubler moniker Ben sold display advertising, lead generation, paid search, SEO and affiliate marketing to clients like The Gap, Vodafone, Mothercare ELC, The AA and American Express before being offered a strategic sales role at TBG Digital – the Global Facebook experts and market leaders at the time.

He then spent 4 years working closely with clients and Facebook to develop forward thinking social acquisition campaigns for brands like Capital One, Sainsburys, Swiftcover and M&S before moving to Alchemy Social where he pioneered new ways to use Experian consumer data to target customers through social media.

Ben joined Webgains in 2013 as Commercial Director to focus on a management career and to rekindle his love affair with performance marketing, the system that drew him to digital advertising in the first place.
